Darvas, Nicolas This is a timeless classic that is very easy to read. Darvas was a dancer in the 1950’s and his insights into the sharemarket are terrific. His breakout method of trading is something that I use in my own trading. Many of the psychological principles of trading successfully are revealed in this charming story about his own life. Some of these premises include aspects that I have found invaluable in my own trading eg trade alone, apply a trailing stop loss, don’t listen to well meaning brokers, find a method that suits you and stick to your rules etc. If you’re after an entertaining book that has many relevant lessons for trading today, this will suit you.
